Home mover Mortgages
If you are planning on moving house or are in the process of doing so, you may require a home mover mortgage. Moving house is a great opportunity to reconsider your current mortgage and search for a better deal. Whether you are looking to move to a different location, step up in the property ladder or even step down, making sure that you are also getting the best for your mortgage is something to consider at the same time. Here at Box Financial Services, we have access to over 70 different lenders, so let us do the mortgage shopping for you while you look for that new home.
Early Repayment Charges :- The process of changing any mortgage to a different lender is classed as re-mortgaging. As with any re-mortgage, you should check whether there are penalties – also known as Early Repayment Charges (ERC) – for ending your current agreement earlier than contracted. You should check if these exist on your current mortgage before considering changing your mortgage. If you are struggling to find this, bring or send your previous correspondence to us and we can help.

Re-Mortgage
When your initial mortgage term is coming to an end, most of us start shopping around to see if there is a better deal available out there and change lender. This is known as a re-mortgage. Some of us miss the deadline and end up on the lender’s standard variable rate which can cause repayments to jump significantly. We would always advise that you should start to think about the process and contact us at least 4-6 months before the end of your fixed-rate product, some lenders and solicitors can take some time to move you on to your new deal so the sooner you start the better.
